The Northern Sydney Institute floristry students hosted their annual Floristry Showcase at the Ryde Campus last Wednesday with a ‘flowers on the field’ theme – perfectly timed for the spring racing carnival.
Visitors had the chance to view a unique, never to be repeated fashion parade of original fresh floral designs, while enjoying canapés created by Ryde Campus Le Cordon Bleu students.
“It was one of the students most exciting display’s yet,” said Floristry Head Teacher, Natasha Hattersley.
“They created some very sophisticated wearable designs – including bridal pieces - that can be easily adapted to suit individual styles.
“It was inspiring, so many creative minds at work producing a great spectrum of ideas.”
