TAFE NSW – Northern Sydney Institute’s Sydney Wine Academy Director, Clive Hartley, is celebrating being nominated as one of the Liquor Merchants of Australia Association’s (LMAA) Drinks Trade Magazine’s most outstanding and influential figures.
A special award to celebrate the 21st edition of Drinks Trade Magazine, the award recognises and honours the contributions of outstanding and influential individuals in the Australian liquor industry over the last 21 years.
During November, members of the Australian liquor industry have been able to vote for the most influential figure via an online polling service.
Clive said he was honoured to be nominated.
“It was with great pleasure that I received notification that I had been nominated for possible short listing for recognition by the LMAA and Drinks Trade Magazine,” he said.
“I’m very excited that a wine educator has been recognised, especially amongst the list of corporate CEO’s, managing directors and national wine writers.”
The final 21 candidates as voted for by the Australian liquor industry will be published In the February/March 2011 issue of Drinks Trade Magazine.
The nominees will also be named at the LMAA Annual Lunch on Wednesday the 24 November 2010 held in Sydney.
