The Green Gown Awards recognise sustainability excellence within institutions and are run by Australasian Campuses towards Sustainability (ACTS) and founded in the United Kingdom.
The awards were held in conjunction with the 11th International ACTS Conference and were attended by over 120 international and national sustainability practitioners from the tertiary education sector, business and government.
NSI Director Kevin Harris said NSI were proud leaders, delivering innovative sustainability education.
“It’s an honour to be highly commended for our continuous improvement and commitment to sustainability,” he said.
“NSI as an organisation strives hard to maintain the highest standard in sustainability education and are continually evaluating our sustainability initiatives and improving our capabilities in this area.”
